HESWALL RACKETS CLUB – AGM ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Members,
Due to the Padel build running slightly over schedule, the Committee feels it would be unwise to call the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at this stage without having a full and accurate picture of the Club’s finances and the direction we are heading.
We fully understand that, under the Club Constitution, the AGM should ordinarily be held within 12 months. However, after consulting with the Trustees, all are in agreement that — given the Club is currently in a critical stage of the Padel build — it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone the AGM until the project is complete.
This decision allows the Committee to focus all its time and energy on successfully delivering the Padel build within budget and to the best possible standard.
As soon as the build is completed and any initial teething issues have been resolved, we will call the AGM, giving all members the required three weeks’ notice.
